The article evaluates the outcomes of robotic staging surgery using low pelvic port placement (LP3) in patients with high-risk endometrial cancer, a procedure that combines para-aortic lymph node dissection (PALND) and pelvic surgeries. Conducted on 22 patients, the study demonstrates the feasibility of this approach, showing a mean operative time of 263 minutes, average retrieval of 31 lymph nodes, and a recurrence rate of 13.6%. The study emphasizes the advantages of robotic surgery, such as precision and reduced morbidity, and highlights the importance of PALND for accurate staging and improved outcomes in high-risk patients. The LP3 approach facilitates comprehensive lymphadenectomy, providing consistent and reproducible surgical results while minimizing complications.
