The article compares the long-term oncological outcomes of different surgical approaches in patients with high-risk endometrial cancer. The study included 941 patients who underwent surgical staging via laparotomy, conventional laparoscopy, or robot-assisted laparoscopy. The results showed no significant differences in 5-year disease-free survival and overall survival among the three surgical methods. The findings suggest that minimally invasive techniques, including laparoscopy and robot-assisted laparoscopy, are safe alternatives to traditional laparotomy for staging surgery in this patient population. These results provide valuable insights for clinicians when counseling patients on surgical options for high-risk endometrial cancer.
