This study compared post-operative bladder function between 30 patients who received robotic sacrocolpopexy (RSC) and 30 patients who received transvaginal mesh surgery (TVM). The authors concluded that RSC and TVM are both beneficial to improve voiding function. However, a deterioration in urethral function was observed and the de novo stress urinary incontinence rate was higher in the RSC group than in the TVM group.
