The study compares the da VinciĀ® Xi and hinotoriā„¢ SRS robotic surgical systems for gynecologic procedures, analyzing data from 401 cases at Kagoshima University Hospital. The da VinciĀ® Xi was used in 332 cases, while the hinotoriā„¢ SRS was used in 69 cases. Both systems demonstrated similar safety profiles, with minimal blood loss and low complication rates. The hinotoriā„¢ SRS had a slightly longer cockpit/console time (173 min vs. 156 min for da VinciĀ® Xi, p = 0.047), potentially due to a learning curve and procedural differences. There were no significant differences in operative time, blood loss, hospital stay, or overall complication rates. The study concludes that the hinotoriā„¢ SRS is a viable alternative to the da VinciĀ® Xi for gynecologic robotic surgery, but further prospective studies are needed for validation.
